Visiting Stagecoach

The Upper Yampa Water Conservancy District owns and operates Stagecoach Reservoir, but recreation at Stagecoach State Park is managed by Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW). In late 2024, construction of the Stagecoach Visitor Center was completed. The Visitor Center offers interactive experiences and information about the reservoir and surrounding area. 

UYWCD contributed $75,000 to the exhibits at the Stagecoach Visitor Center, including a StoryMap that anyone can explore from home. Check out the Stagecoach StoryMap to learn more about the District, where your water comes from, and where it goes!
